Francesca Guidi was born in La Spezia, Italy, in 1988 where she developed an interest in photography at a young age and in 2014 she graduated from Milan photography school “Istituto Italiano di Fotografia”.
From that moment she spent several years as an assistant for a local photographer in La Spezia; years of experimentation, where she tried to combine her strong passion for nature photography with the curiosity about what is behind every human being including live music.
In 2018 she moved to London to focus on live music photography within the UK scene.
“For me, photography is a window on existence, an escape from myself, a journey to other experiences. Open your eyes to observe the life that flows in front of you. I believe photography is an intimate means of touching others and at the same time taking on another point of view, different from my own. Become one with what I observe and be able to exclude what is left out of it.
“I consider myself in constant evolution and I see change as a fundamental driving force to grow as a human being as well as an artist, following my heart and instincts.”
